Who Is Reb Eli Stefansky
Originally from Chicago, Reb Eli Stefansky and his family made Aliyah to Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2013. A few years later, Reb Eli began hosting a Daf Yomi Shiur in his home every Thursday night, summarizing that week's seven Dapim of Gemara.
Reb Eli gave the first ever Mercaz Daf Yomi Shiur in the middle of Maseches Avodah Zarah, on Daf 28, in the middle of a Sugya. He chose not to delay with a new Masechta but to take advantage of the opportunity to fulfill a mitzvah right away.
Since then, MDY has grown from seven members to over 30,000, transforming lives through accessible Torah learning. There's no better time to join than now.
